About the position

The Mid Level Network Engineer position at NiSUS Technologies Corporation involves providing operational support for network systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and functionality of network topologies. Responsibilities

• Participate in daily network and operational support.
• Troubleshoot network issues and failures, following best practices and methodologies.
• Provide technical analysis of operational issues and ensure documentation is updated during events.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and attain relevant certifications.
• Work with stakeholders to lead problem-solving and evolve system roadmaps.
• Provide clear communication and regular updates to the management team.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with poly required
• 14 years of related experience and a Bachelor of Science
• 5 years of experience may be substituted for a degree
• Experience with Cisco Routing & Switching
• Experience with Cisco Systems Products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning
• Experience with Juniper Networks Products
• Experience with load balancing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong understanding of network protocols, DNS, SSL/TLS, and web security practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working for or with service providers and/or enterprise customers
• Experience in large Data Center or Enterprise/campus designs, architecture, deployment, and configuration with physical and virtual appliances.
• Understanding of encryption and SSL/TLS technologies and best practices.
