About the position

The Productivity Manager at Sunny Delight Beverage Co. is responsible for driving operational improvements within the plant by collaborating with the Operations and Technical teams. This role focuses on coaching frontline leaders, enhancing line efficiencies, reducing material losses, and improving equipment reliability. The position requires a strong background in continuous improvement and operational excellence, with a focus on achieving cost per case objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive OEE improvements
  • Provide accurate, timely feasibility assessments of manufacturing and savings projects
  • Institutionalize and standardize a comprehensive lean program for the site
  • Collaborate with plant engineering and operations to improve feasibility of new ideas
  • Provide training of local resources in root cause resolution techniques
  • Identify and champion productivity or revenue building ideas through Process Mapping
  • Effectively communicate project status and key milestones to team members and leadership
  • Deliver technically robust projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor & track packaging system trends to identify improvement projects
  • Provide technical support for plant operations and issue resolution
  • Facilitate operational team training in various CI processes
  • Identify productivity improvements impacting quality, cost, and performance
  • Ensure cost performance gaps are identified and action plans developed
  • Track operational output measures and correct trends to meet financial targets
  • Build strong relationships with leadership and operations teams
  • Comply with all company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Maintain product quality and sanitation standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent technical major
  • 10+ years of continuous improvement experience in operational research
  • 5+ years of productivity experience with increasing responsibility
  • Project Management skills with experience in significant projects (> $1MM)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for leadership and training
  • Experience applying lean concepts in a process environment
  • Strong knowledge of change management, servant leadership, TPM, and kaizen
  • Proven track record of using servant leadership philosophy
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and statistical software
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule across multiple shifts
