About the position
Argos USA Concrete Ready Mix is seeking a dedicated and skilled CDLA or CDL B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our team in Gainesville, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering concrete loads to various customers in the Gainesville area, contributing to a wide range of projects from residential homes to major commercial infrastructures. This position is non-union and requires the ability to operate a 9-speed or more manual transmission truck. It is essential that candidates reside within 30 miles of Gainesville to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. As a driver for Argos USA, you will enjoy the benefit of daily home time, allowing you to spend quality time with your family. Our compensation structure is competitive, with average weekly pay ranging from $840.00 to $1,300.00, depending on the number of loads delivered, which typically averages between 17 to 25 loads per week. We guarantee a minimum weekly pay of $760.00, and drivers can earn an additional $1.00 per hour when operating a manual transmission. We also offer bonuses, including a Driver Referral Bonus of $500.00 after 30 days and another $500.00 after 6 months, as well as an annual performance-based merit increase. Our benefits package is comprehensive, starting from your first day of employment. The physical demands of the job include lifting extension chutes and other items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds, climbing up and down ladders/stairs, and completing necessary paperwork. Candidates must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test, physical, MVR, national background screen, and agility test. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Must have a valid CDL A or CDL B license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to drive a manual truck is required.
- Must have a clean MVR and no DUIs within the last 3 years.
- No suspensions in the last 30 days.
- No substance abuse violations in the last 3 years.
- Must not be restricted from driving at night.
- Must be able to lift extension chutes and other items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds, at least 30 percent of the time.
- Must be able to work irregular hours depending on customer demands, averaging 12 - 14 hours a day during busy seasons.
- Must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Must be able to successfully pass DOT pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, MVR and national background screen, and Agility Test.
