About the position
The Galaxy Park, Guest Services Representative is responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience at Galaxy Park. This role involves monitoring entry to the venue, providing information about programming and facilities, handling guest inquiries, and processing payments. The representative acts as the first point of contact for guests and is essential in maintaining a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests to the venue and being knowledgeable of venue layout, programs, and policies.
- Act as the first point of contact for guest inquiries and client issues over the phone, in person, and via email, escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
- Process POS transactions including selling merchandise and beverages, and assist the Program Coordinator in registering customers for programs and booking rentals.
- Ensure guests are safely following facility protocols and report any injuries or unsafe areas to a supervisor.
- Assist in setting up or breaking down equipment in various areas including Futsal Courts, Pickleball Courts, Padel Courts, Event Spaces, and Common Areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalency.
- 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment and have working knowledge of computer operations including MS Office and other business systems.
- Ability to stand consistently for a minimum of 6 hours and withstand various weather elements such as high temperatures, cold, wind, and rain.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
