About the position

Actalent is seeking to hire Software Engineers for a client in the aviation industry, focusing on the development of software for training and simulation product lines. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology and offers some remote flexibility after initial onboarding. The position is suitable for mid to senior-level engineers and encompasses all aspects of software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for training and simulation product lines.
• Implement features such as rendering, shading, lighting, load balancing, weather effects, animation, multi-threading, anti-aliasing, dynamic paging, and display interfaces.
• Extend and enhance next generation products.
• Engage in all facets of software development including communication, requirements assessment, research, design, development, testing, integration, peer review, documentation, maintenance, and end user support.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C++ or C#
• Experience with Unreal
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of mathematical capability (matrix algebra, projective geometry, vector math)
• Knowledge of data structures
