About the position

The Game Technician Manager is responsible for overseeing the troubleshooting and repair of various amusement attractions within the facility, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards. This role involves managing a team of technicians, maintaining inventory, and supporting front-end operations to enhance guest service and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair various amusement attractions including video games, skill games, redemption systems, and point of sale systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on games, card readers, and equipment.
  • Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Maintain logs for state or local authorities as necessary.
  • Execute reports summarizing business performance on a scheduled basis.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, parts, and merchandise.
  • Complete requested work order repairs and requests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support front-end operations and learn best practices for guest service standards.
  • Hire and schedule employees for the Game Room.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in management and as a Game Technician.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and associated hardware.
  • Experience in component level circuit board repair and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of data networks and debit/game-card system infrastructure.
  • Ability to learn and perform methods of diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing or modifying mechanical and electrical equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with amusement attractions and arcade operations.
  • Ability to maintain quality relationships with vendors and partners.
