About the position

The Gameday Audio Engineer is a part-time position with Colorado Grit, responsible for ensuring high-quality audio during home games throughout the 2024-2025 season. This role is crucial for enhancing the game day experience for fans and players alike. The engineer will monitor in-house audio levels for the Public Address Announcer and wireless microphones, as well as operate audio software to play music and audio insertions during games. The position requires attendance at a majority of the 28 home games, which are typically held on Friday and Saturday nights at the Greeley Ice Haus in Greeley, Colorado. The engineer must be prepared to arrive early on game days to familiarize themselves with the game day script and take direction from the Gameday Producer regarding audio cues and additional requirements. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about sports and audio production, looking to contribute to a growing hockey team in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

Responsibilities

  • Be trained on sound mixer and audio equipment
  • Play different cued music and sounds during pre-game, in-game, and post-game for Colorado Grit home games
  • Arrive pre-game to learn specific information about the game day script
  • Take direction from Producer for additional audio rundown

Requirements
