MLB is currently seeking part-time seasonal Gameday Monitors for the upcoming 2024 Major League Baseball season. The primary responsibility of the Gameday Monitor is to provide quality assurance for live video and audio streams on MLB.TV. This role is crucial in ensuring that the broadcasts meet the high standards expected by viewers. Ideal candidates will be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week and must possess MLB's core competencies in areas such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and relationship management. Gameday Monitors will work remotely, which requires a keen attention to detail and strong writing skills. They will need to be actively engaged with their teammates during each shift to ensure effective communication and problem-solving. The position demands flexibility, as the schedule will be tied to the Major League Baseball season, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role involves monitoring assigned home and away broadcast feeds according to the daily gameday schedule, which includes pre and post-game shows, audio streams, and regional broadcasts for each designated game.
