About the position

KeyBridge Technologies is seeking a motivated software engineering intern to join their dynamic team focused on developing innovative gaming solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in software and gaming development while working closely with a team of artists, designers, and engineers to create serious games and training applications. The role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and the use of cutting-edge technologies in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with game designers and engineers to implement, debug, and refine core features of training games and software solutions.
• Build gaming applications for users, partners, and team members, ranging from internal tools to mobile websites.
• Incorporate feedback from customers, product management, interaction designers, and back-end engineers into development processes.
• Create high-quality serious games for training purposes using innovative technologies.
• Practice and perfect project management skills while working on various projects.

Requirements

• Experience with Unity in a production environment and familiarity with Unity source code.
• Strong programming skills in Unity, C#, and C++.
• Experience implementing and debugging multithreaded code and working in the Data-Oriented Design development paradigm.
• Experience developing, debugging, and optimizing applications for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.
• A passion for creating innovative user experiences and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with simulated physics, such as cloth, springs, gravity, flocking, and particle systems (desired).
• Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
