About the position
The Assistant Manager at Garage is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, focusing on optimizing sales results and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves leading a high-performing team, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in daily operations, including sales floor management and eCommerce order fulfillment, while maintaining brand standards and visual merchandising directives.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team to drive operational efficiency.
- Promote a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Optimize inventory management and increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory through shipment processing and sales floor replenishment.
- Contribute to eCommerce order fulfillment.
Requirements
- High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline is an asset.
- 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
- Passion for fashion and exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility and innovation in responding to changing business environments.
- Ability to promote a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Proficiency in social media management, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office.
