About the position
We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer/Technician to join our team at Thoughtform Design Build, LLC. This temporary contract position focuses on the installation and maintenance of residential dumbwaiters and other elevation equipment, ensuring high standards of cost control and quality without subcontracting to other trades.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain elevation equipment
- Install specific specialized construction materials for interiors and exteriors
- Read and interpret schematics for accurate installations
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components
- Install electrical low voltage wiring and components
Requirements
- Previous experience in installing on construction sites
- Mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics
- Proficient in electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
