Olsten is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Garment Processing Associate position in Laurel Hill, North Carolina. This is a long-term opportunity where the selected candidate will be responsible for processing orders to be shipped to department stores. The role involves applying tags to garments, folding or hanging garments on hangers, and returning garments to cartons before sealing the boxes with tape. The position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. As a Garment Processing Associate, you will be expected to move boxes of garments from the conveyor to your work station, open cartons, and take garments out to apply tags using a swift tacker hand-held gun. You will also need to hang garments on hangers and return them to the carton, place necessary stickers on garments, fold tagged garments, and close the cartons securely with tape. Additionally, you may perform other related duties as necessary and must observe all safety rules and regulations for yourself and others. Good housekeeping practices are also essential in this role.
