About the position
The Fuel Attendant position at Rand Sun Inc. involves maintaining a clean and safe fuel island and retail environment while providing excellent customer service. The role requires physical stamina and good communication skills to effectively assist customers and perform various tasks related to fuel dispensing and station maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Collect money from patrons at a gas station.
- Dispense change and provide receipts to customers.
- Fill up tanks if asked and charge purchases to customers' credit cards.
- Collect and dispose of trash around the fuel island.
- Answer questions and provide directions as needed.
- Activate fuel pumps and wash windshields.
- Check fluid levels and air pressure in tires.
- Clean gas station bathrooms and maintain cleanliness of the fuel island.
- Count money in cash drawer and sweep and mop floors.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Good personal grooming habits.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.
- Ability to use powered cleaning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
