About the position

The Gas Station Attendant position at Ignite Pacific involves working the night shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, providing customer service, and performing various operational tasks at the gas station. The role requires effective communication, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The attendant will be responsible for sales transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly welcome and assist them with their needs.
• Engage in suggestive selling to encourage additional purchases.
• Accurately complete daily paperwork and sales transactions on the cash register.
• Maintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior areas of the gas station.
• Ensure the safety of customers by following company loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Operate store equipment efficiently, including fuel pumps and cash registers.
• Follow company policies and state and federal laws while performing duties.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Experience in retail sales is preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to and from the store.
• Must be over 21 years old.
