We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while ensuring the smooth operation of our gas station. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with fuel purchases, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with fuel purchases and other services.
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
- Provide product input and upsell additional items such as snacks, beverages, and car care products.
- Maintain cleanliness of the gas station area, including restrooms and convenience store sections.
- Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs to management.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries or concerns regarding products or services.
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls related to services offered at the gas station.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience with retail math is a plus for managing inventory and sales reporting.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Previous experience in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
