About the position
The Gas Station Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the gas station, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves both leadership and operational responsibilities, including training employees, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for customers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and perform all duties of the CSR, Lead CSR, and Store Assistant positions.
- Recruit, hire, retain, and train positive, enthusiastic employees.
- Develop, manage, and assign tasks to ensure the store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well-kept.
- Establish ongoing communication meetings with all site employees and immediate supervisor regarding safety and employment issues.
- Accurately complete daily paperwork and implement gasoline pricing strategies.
- Efficiently ring up all sales on a cash register and handle various payment types.
- Maintain property and equipment to ensure a safe shopping experience.
- Follow company loss prevention and safety procedures.
- Budget and forecast Profit & Loss lines and manage merchandise margins.
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver License.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
- Ability to work 6 days a week and a minimum of 56 hours per week.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds routinely.
