About the position

The Assistant Concept Manager at Gastro Hub is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all staff are trained and supervised to provide excellent customer service in line with company standards. This role involves managing shifts, coordinating staff activities, and addressing customer feedback to maintain high service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel to deliver prompt, courteous service.
  • Supervise and coordinate assigned shift; conduct daily meetings with staff.
  • Assist in overall supervision of the department.
  • Check staff punctuality and attendance.
  • Communicate with customers and receive feedback.
  • Observe, teach, and correct staff's service as needed.
  • Examine food preparation and beverage presentation for quality.
  • Handle any guest complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Order daily supplies and manage inventory.
  • Follow up on established training steps and protocols.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of restaurant or related food service operations experience.
  • Minimum High School Diploma; some college preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
