About the position
The Gastroenterologist position in Columbus, Indiana, offers an opportunity to join a team of four gastroenterologists in a vibrant community known for its architecture and cultural offerings. The role involves providing general gastroenterology services with the potential for advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS, while managing a patient load of 15 to 17 patients per day. The position is designed for both experienced gastroenterologists and current fellows, with a strong support system from CompHealth to facilitate a smooth transition into the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide general gastroenterology services to patients.
- Perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS as needed.
- Manage a patient load of 15 to 17 patients per day.
- Collaborate with a team of four gastroenterologists.
- Participate in the local healthcare community and contribute to patient care.
Requirements
- Board certification in Gastroenterology or eligibility for certification.
- Valid medical license in Indiana or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in performing ERCP and EUS is preferred but not mandatory.
