About the position
The position is for a Locum Gastroenterologist in North Kansas City, Missouri, requiring coverage for hospital services and 24/7 call. The role involves daily consults and procedures, primarily focusing on inpatient care with a significant volume of procedures and consults each month.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 call coverage and hospital services as a GI hospitalist.
- Conduct daily consults and manage night call/call back duties.
- Perform procedures as needed, with a focus on inpatient care.
- Collaborate with support staff, including APP providers, to ensure effective patient care.
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 700 procedures and 200 consults per month.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (BC).
- Active Missouri Medical License.
- Current DEA registration.

- ERCP training is preferred but not required.
