About the position
The Gastroenterology Physician position is a locum tenens role aimed at providing essential medical support in a hospital setting. The physician will be responsible for performing various gastroenterological procedures and will be on call for 24 hours, ensuring comprehensive patient care in a vibrant community known for its friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Provide locum tenens support in a hospital setting.
- Perform required procedures including Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy, Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Lower Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, and Upper Endoscopy.
- Be available for 24-hour call from 7:00 am to 7:00 am.
Requirements
- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- Experience in performing the required procedures.
