About the position

The GBA Finance Director - Growth at Arcadis serves as a key business partner across various domains including Finance Transformation, M&A support, Digital, IT, Technology, and Sustainability reporting. This global role is pivotal in supporting the GBA Finance Director and management team, ensuring effective financial strategies and reporting processes are in place to maximize shareholder value and improve overall business performance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to support the GBA FD and the GBA management team.
• Provide M&A support for new acquisitions, divestments, and transfers.
• Support the business on topics like Digital, IT, Technology, and Sustainability reporting.
• Track and flag gaps in non-financial (ESG) performance reporting and provide insightful analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of capex/investment proposals and monitor investment appraisal.
• Interface with Technology and the Transformation-Engine for finance transformation implementation.
• Support FD with coordination and assessment of major bids in Global Bid & Pursuits.
• Ensure alignment with GSSC teams on non-financial reporting and major pursuits submission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience as a finance leader in a global setting.
• Proven experience as a strong business partner with an understanding of client needs.
• Thorough knowledge of project business and finance transformation processes.
• Experience in managing change and driving standardization and automation.
• Strong leadership skills in managing significant finance functions and developing strategy.
