About the position

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and testing scalable applications that leverage cutting-edge technologies. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance middle and back office platforms, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of clients and high trading volumes. You will play a crucial role in the transformation of business transactions and contribute to the migration of legacy systems to modern tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Support both regional and global deliveries within the global team.
• Transition seamlessly between different aspects of the technical stack.
• Develop integrated scalable solutions utilizing microservices, REST frameworks, and APIs.
• Contribute to the migration of foundational platforms from legacy implementations to modern tech stacks.
• Enhance report offerings by improving delivery SLAs and building additional features as requested by clients.
• Create and maintain system documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Core Java development experience with a solid understanding of Core Java concepts and Design Patterns.
• Experience with equivalent object-oriented languages (e.g., C++/C#).
• 2+ years of RDBMS experience (preferably Sybase or UDB) with the ability to write and analyze complex queries.
• Desire to build strong and efficient SDLC practices.
• Hands-on experience in debugging and optimizing code, as well as automation.
• Strong internal skills and drive with excellent communication skills.
