About the position
The Seasonal Sales Associate at Guitar Center plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support in a retail environment. This position focuses on engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and assisting them in finding the right products to enhance their musical experience. The associate will also contribute to the store's overall success by meeting sales targets and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and qualify their needs.
- Match customer needs to the right products.
- Pitch and overcome objections to close sales.
- Reach sales targets on services.
- Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers.
- Assist customers and guide them through the sales process.
- Participate in continual learning through onboarding and certification processes.
- Assist with store readiness and customer service tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish displays as needed.
- Build relationships with customers for future service needs.
Requirements
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service.
- High attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
- Intermediate knowledge of musical instruments sold within Guitar Center (Guitars, Drums, Tech, etc.)
