About the position

The Data Architect role is focused on leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery to design and implement data solutions. The position requires extensive experience in data engineering, building data pipelines, and utilizing various Google data products. The role is contract-based and requires onsite presence from day one.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT frameworks using BigQuery.
• Automate data loading from BigQuery using APIs or scripting languages.
• Create and configure Airflow DAGs for scheduling and managing workflows.
• Implement data integration, transformation, quality, and lineage tools.
• Prototype solutions and conduct usability testing and data visualization.
• Manage end-to-end data engineering lifecycle, including non-functional requirements and operations.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 10 years of experience in Big Data technologies.
• 7 years of experience in Python programming.
• 5 years of experience with Pandas.
• 5 years of experience with Airflow.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Dev-Sec-Ops (CICD) environment.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL modern data stores.
