About the position

As a GCP Vulnerability Engineer at Publicis Sapient, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security architecture and threat modeling for our clients' digital transformation solutions. This individual contributor position focuses on evaluating public cloud services, conducting security reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify security opportunities and propose effective mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical architecture reviews to identify security opportunities and exploitable threats.
• Evaluate public cloud services and perform security reviews for Public Cloud Providers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Information Security, Program Management, and Development teams.
• Deliver presentations to senior leaders and peer organizations in both technical and non-technical terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in security engineering, particularly in cloud environments.
• Proven offensive security-oriented mindset, including vulnerability assessments and threat modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Excellent understanding of cloud security concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with securing containers and container orchestration frameworks, such as Kubernetes (GKE).
• Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and attacker TTPs.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with programming/scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform.
