About the position

The Geek Squad Advanced Repair Agent is responsible for identifying and providing technology-related solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring that every customer receives exceptional service. This role involves diagnosing technology issues, utilizing troubleshooting techniques, and fostering a supportive environment for customers through effective communication and collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions for their needs.
  • Understand the importance of the customer experience when performing diagnostic discoveries, making recommendations, and protecting customer devices both in-person and by phone.
  • Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow-up and ensure deliverables are met or exceeded.
  • Partner with other team members to ensure consistent and accurate documentation of customer requests and repairs.

Requirements

  • 6+ months experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, or repairing technology products
  • Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of holidays, nights and weekends.
