About the position

The GenAI Developer position at Techwavz Inc involves building, deploying, and maintaining an enterprise-level RAG application in Azure. This hybrid role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, backend and frontend development, and AI engineering, focusing on integrating various Azure services and ensuring security and compliance throughout the development process.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain an enterprise-level RAG application in Azure.
• Set up and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Manage containers in Azure, including using development containers in GitHub Codespaces.
• Handle security for Azure AD, including authentication and authorization management.
• Develop backend services using Python and integrate with Azure services.
• Create and manage document processing pipelines for language translation and embedding text chunks.
• Develop the frontend using React and Typescript, ensuring smooth communication with backend APIs.
• Secure the frontend application, particularly with Azure AD integration for user authentication.
• Manage and process data for AI models, including large text datasets and embeddings.

Requirements

• Proficient in Azure Cloud services including Azure OpenAI, CosmosDB, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Makefile scripting.
• Ability to set up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong skills in containerization using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficient in backend development with Python, Flask, and API integration.
• Experience with RAG applications and Azure OpenAI models.
• Knowledge of database management with Azure CosmosDB and NoSQL databases.
• Frontend development experience with React and Typescript.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GitHub Codespaces and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of web security practices, especially with OAuth and JWT.
