About the position

The GenAI Engineer at SRS Distribution is a Full Stack Engineer responsible for conceptualizing, designing, developing, and implementing prototypes and use cases that leverage Generative AI and LLM technologies. This role focuses on optimizing capabilities for the team and customers, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and the Tech Innovation team to deploy innovative solutions in the distribution industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for Generative AI solutions.
• Facilitate testing and validation to ensure model output accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging Gen AI and LLM technologies.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud-native applications using full-stack technologies.
• Integrate Generative AI/LLM capabilities and services into applications.
• Work with large datasets to extract insights and develop data-driven applications.
• Share expertise and mentor engineers across the organization.
• Stay updated on advancements in the field and identify opportunities for application.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with proficiency in Python.
• 3+ years of experience leading projects and mentoring junior developers.
• 3+ years of working experience with at least one cloud platform.
• Demonstrated track record of creating innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
• Deep development experience in at least one public cloud provider.
• Proficiency in various programming languages including Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, .Net, and SQL.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience in front-end frameworks like React/Angular and server-side languages.
• Experience in database design and development using Postgres, Redis, or other NoSQL data stores.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with developing applications using large language models and OpenAI API.
• Working experience in developing and applying AI/ML technologies like LangChain and OpenAI.
• Proven ability for problem-solving and debugging.
