About the position

The Sr Python Lead Developer for Gen AI is a technical leadership role focused on designing and implementing scalable architectures using Python, Generative AI, Azure, and GCP. The position requires extensive experience in cloud services and big data solutions, with a strong emphasis on mentoring team members and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient architectures using Python, Generative AI, Azure, and GCP.
• Oversee the development and deployment of big data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and challenges.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in Python and Generative AI with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Proficiency in Azure and GCP with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of PySpark and its application in big data processing.
• Experience with Google Cloud Big Data and Google Cloud Services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Full software development lifecycle experience.
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills.

Nice-to-haves

• C# programming experience.
• API development experience.
• Experience with Lang chain or other similar abstraction/orchestration library.
• General understanding of Generative AI models, concepts, capabilities, and usage patterns.
