About the position

The General Accountant II position at Tektree involves preparing and managing monthly financial statements for both domestic and international operations. The role requires ensuring timely month-end close, reconciling accounts, supporting budget preparation, and assisting with audits and ad hoc analysis. This position is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for domestic and international operations.
• Reconcile accounts and manage month-end closing processes.
• Review and post journal entries, including currency revaluations and intercompany transactions.
• Run integrity reports and resolve variances in financial data.
• Prepare USD consolidations for US and Mexico entities.
• Support audits and prepare necessary government reports.
• Perform budget analysis and assist in preparing specific budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting with knowledge of US GAAP and MX GAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookup.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
