About the position

The General Affair Manager at a global automotive parts manufacturing company is responsible for overseeing accounting and HR operations, ensuring compliance with budgets, and acting as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in business administration, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all accounting and HR operations including AR/AP, payroll, finance, and sales analysis.
  • Ensuring adherence to budgets and participating in budget and financial planning.
  • Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Working closely with upper management to develop and improve accounting and HR processes, programs, and initiatives.
  • Assisting with preparation for internal and external financial audits.
  • Performing general administration duties such as data entry, travel and event scheduling, and office management.
  • Completing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Accounting, Human Resources Administration, or a related field preferred, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Japanese language ability is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Understanding of local and federal accounting and employment regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to collaborate with colleagues and departments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Japanese language proficiency.
