About the position

The GA III will perform full journey level auditing duties. The GA III is required to conduct the more complex field audits of STRTP, FFA and THP-NMD programs statewide to determine compliance with foster care rate setting, auditing regulations and federal and state laws both independently and in collaboration with other audit staff. The GA III is required to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders with a commitment towards excellence, to ensure the achievement of the desired results and/or benefits established by the legislature for which the Providers are being paid.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex field audits of STRTP, FFA, and THP-NMD programs statewide.
  • Determine compliance with foster care rate setting, auditing regulations, and federal and state laws.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired results.
  • Ensure fiscal integrity of the foster care program.

Requirements

  • Experience in auditing and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel statewide approximately 15 to 20 percent of the time.

  • Experience with TeamMate Audit Software.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make timely decisions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
