About the position
The General Bookkeeper position at Central Farmers involves managing daily bookkeeping activities to ensure efficient financial processes. This full-time role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak seasons when extended hours, including nights and weekends, may be necessary.
Responsibilities
- Enter daily payable vouchers for all departments of the company.
- Ensure payments are completed timely.
- Process incoming documents, mail, and customer payments daily.
- Assist with walk-in customer inquiries and phone calls.
- Support daily office functions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work at elevated levels in dusty and loud environments.
- Ability to think quickly and follow directions.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
