About the position

This is a continuous posting to establish a General Clerical Substitute List for clerical needs throughout the District. Testing: All applicants meeting minimum qualifications will be invited to take a basic computer skills assessment exam. This exam will test applicants' skills using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties as needed throughout the District.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide frequent public contact and customer service.

Requirements

  • Two years of general clerical experience involving data entry and frequent public contact.
  • Ability to pass a basic computer skills assessment exam.
  • Must subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance.
  • Submit to a general tuberculosis examination.
  • Fingerprinting and completion of a pre-placement physical examination.
  • Show proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience in an educational environment.
