About the position
The General Contractor position at Legacy Preservation Group, LLC involves performing various property maintenance and preservation tasks on foreclosed properties across the state of Maryland. The role requires familiarity with preservation requirements and damage reporting, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial security and property condition bids on foreclosed properties.
- Conduct maintenance tasks including grass cuts, trash-outs, winterization, and de-winterization.
- Carry out roof patching and inspections as needed.
- Report damages and conduct tree trimming as part of property upkeep.
- Handle mold treatment and appliance repair tasks.
- Perform septic system maintenance and diagnostics.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and plumbing work as required.
Requirements
- Experience as a general contractor with a focus on property preservation.
- Familiarity with preservation requirements and damage reporting processes.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with a variety of maintenance tasks including mold treatment and appliance repair.
- Knowledge of septic system maintenance and diagnostics.
