About the position

The Cleaner/Janitor position at DuBose Cleaning Services involves maintaining cleanliness and organization within the building. The role is essential for ensuring a tidy environment and requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping)
• Gathering and emptying indoor trash
• Clean, service and resupply restrooms
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Engaging in building security and safety activities (checking and locking doors)
• Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities
• Clean, polish office tables, chairs, desks and all other furniture used in the office or the entire building
• Make minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems in a building
• Maintain the supply and equipment needed for cleaning duties
• Restock or resupply restroom papers and make sure the toilet is in a good condition

Requirements
