About the position

The General Diagnostic Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating equipment, and maintaining related records. This full-time evening position is crucial in providing quality diagnostic services in a clinical environment, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
  • Operate all equipment within the modality and ensure proper functioning.
  • Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices.
  • Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology in performing examinations.
  • Assist physicians with various procedures as needed.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Maintain related records and notations accurately.
  • Assist in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required.
  • Participate in the educational training of students.

Requirements

  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required)
  • Knowledgeable in operation of all equipment within modality.

Nice-to-haves
