About the position
The General Handy Person with Landscaping Skills will assist in maintaining a 120-acre Family Farm and Nature Preserve, as well as potentially other commercial properties in the Nashville area. This role requires a dependable and hard-working individual with experience in carpentry and landscaping tools, and offers flexible hours with a competitive hourly wage based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Mowing and maintaining lawns
- Clearing brush and debris
- Demolition and junk removal
- Pressure washing surfaces
- Trimming trees and brush
- Landscape gardening
- General residential maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in basic carpentry hand tools (tape measure, saws, drills, nailers & drivers)
- Experience with landscape maintenance tools (zero-turn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, trenchers, plate compactors, earth augers, chainsaws)
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with heavy equipment (skid steer, backhoe, excavator, dozer)
- Willingness to learn about heavy equipment operation
