About the position

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking a Tank Cleaning/Fuel Polishing Operator to join their environmental division. This role involves cleaning aboveground and underground storage tanks across various industries, ensuring environmental compliance and safety. The position offers opportunities for growth and is supported by comprehensive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tank cleaning/polishing as directed.
• Monitor and control equipment and instruments during cleaning operations.
• Record data, gauge levels, and obtain instrument readings.
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs on fuel systems.
• Draw samples of products to monitor processes and ensure standards are met.
• Resolve conditions that may affect safety, efficiency, and product quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Electrical experience.
• Mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at medium heights and perform physical tasks such as crouching, bending, and kneeling.
