About The Position
Leggett & Platt is seeking candidates for immediate openings at our Wire Mill. We are looking for general laborers to join our team, with starting pay at $16.51 per hour, which can go up to $30.00 for incentive-paid positions. The positions involve 12-hour shifts, with openings available on both days and nights, and candidates must be able to work weekends. The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Responsibilities include daily operation of a forktruck, materials movement, cleaning, dumping scrap hoppers, picking up scrap wire, and other duties as assigned. While experience in forktruck operation is helpful, it is not required. There is an opportunity for training in different job positions and overtime is permitted.
