LSI Staffing in North Kansas City is actively seeking General Labor/Forklift Operators for positions in the KCK Fairfax area. This role is essential for supporting various operational tasks within the warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, specifically sit-down propane or electric models, and will also engage in general labor duties as needed. The position offers two shifts: the first shift runs from 6 AM to 4 PM, and the second shift from 12 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be available based on operational needs, providing an opportunity for additional earnings. Candidates must be prepared for a physically demanding role, which includes lifting up to 75 pounds consistently on their own or up to 100 pounds as part of a team. While forklift operation is a key component of the job, employees will not be on the forklift at all times and must be willing to assist with various general labor tasks. Good attendance and reliable transportation are critical, as there is no bus route available to the work site. Additionally, candidates must pass the LSI forklift test and a drug screening prior to being submitted for the position.
