Position Description Title: CL Helper/General Labor Department: PolyAir - IPG Chicago Immediate Supervisor: Plant Supervisory Staff Status: Hourly, Non - Exempt, Union Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:15 PM - 2-2-3, 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule - every other weekend **Current Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 12 hour Days** Pay: $16.22 - $17.09 +$.25 increase after 90 days Position Purpose: Performs General Labor duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 2+ Years in a Manufacturing environment / general labor experience preferred.
• Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required.
• Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• General computer knowledge and experience handling paperwork.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role following recommended practices, with an emphasis on safety and injury prevention.

• Inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished products from the machine.
• Place a product label on the completed products as per specification.
• Place the product into bags and cartons as per specification.
• Place the finished product onto skids or to its proper location as per specification.
• Ensure work area is to be always kept clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Effectively communicate with both the operator, assistant operator, and the supervisor.
• Willing to assist in other areas of the plant when required.
