About the position

The General Laborer position at Aerotek involves assisting in the movement and setup of machinery for Panasonic's battery manufacturing process. This role requires physical labor, including loading and unloading cargo, and using various tools and equipment to relocate materials on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Unloading, loading, and unstuffing cargo from trailers or shipping containers.
• Uncrating, crating, unpacking, packing, and moving cargo using manual or powered hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Relocating and roughly setting cargo to designated locations on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, and material handling equipment like manual skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

Requirements

• 1+ year of construction or physical labor experience.
• Ability to walk 10+ miles per day.
• Ability to bend, crawl, and walk countless times throughout the day.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with carpentry.
• Familiarity with cleaning tasks.
