Responsibilities

• Be punctual, dependable, and professional at all times.
• Be willing and able to learn on a consistent, daily basis.
• Work with cost effectiveness, profitability, and safety in mind.
• Lead by example and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Take care of equipment and hand tools, notifying the supervisor of items needing attention.
• Be aware of the activities planned for the day and work to meet daily production goals.
• Keep the job site, equipment, truck, and trailer neat and orderly.
• Take all necessary actions to protect work in place.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are taken care of and stored neatly and properly when not in use.
• Learn the safe operation of entry-level grading equipment such as rollers and off-road trucks.
• Always work to achieve the highest quality work possible.
• Pay attention to the ongoing task at hand, anticipate the next step in the process, and prepare accordingly.
• Communicate time away from work with your team leader and other team members with sufficient notice to make plans for changing personnel to focus on priorities.
• Willingness to work hours as required.

Requirements

• Ability to perform various tasks independently and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and appearance of finished product.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and safety protocols.
• Completion of OSHA Safety Training.
