About The Position
Wildcat Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a General Laborer to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This position plays a crucial role in the heavy highway construction industry, where the incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks under general supervision. The General Laborer will be expected to operate safely and efficiently, adhering to all personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements. The role requires traveling from job site to job site, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The General Laborer will engage in various activities, including following company safety policies, working collaboratively as part of a team, and utilizing hand tools and equipment necessary for completing tasks. The individual will be responsible for maintaining job site cleanliness and organization, moving materials of various types and weights, and preserving the quality of work being done. Additionally, the General Laborer will apply improved work procedures to enhance safety and efficiency in operations, and perform other related duties as assigned. The ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions is essential for this role. This position requires a strong commitment to work standards, continuous improvement, and effective communication. The General Laborer will need to demonstrate adaptability and contribute to team success while managing their work effectively.
