About the position

The General Laborer - Pallet Sorter is responsible for hand-sorting materials such as wooden pallets, boxes, and plastic bins within a distribution center. This role focuses on achieving production requirements while ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Hand stacking materials appropriately and following instructions
• Loading and unloading materials by hand into trailers
• Moving materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Checking loads to make sure they are secure
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Maintaining Relogistics efficiency and performance standards of production
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment
• Ability to follow instructions for keeping records
• Understanding that overtime may be required
