About the position
Tradesmen International is seeking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals for current and future projects in and around Grand Rapids, MI. This position is ideal for a General Laborer who is eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside some of the best Craft Professionals in the business. Most positions are first shift, offering a competitive pay scale ranging from $14 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the construction industry, where you will gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in various labor tasks. As a General Laborer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of job sites. Your responsibilities will include general labor duties such as demolition, moving materials, and heavy lifting. You will also be responsible for job site clean-up, which involves sweeping, removing materials, and taking trash to dumpsters. Additionally, you will assist with loading and unloading materials and perform other miscellaneous labor tasks as assigned. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, and you will need to have the necessary tools as required for the job. Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including demolition and moving materials.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required on job sites.
