About the position
The General Laborer position at Aerotek involves supporting production and maintenance operations through various tasks. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and detailed instructions, ensuring a clean and organized work environment while participating in on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all on-the-job training.
- Perform various maintenance, housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing functions.
- Follow and comply with facility work rules and all company and safety policies and procedures.
- Fill in on an as-needed basis on fabricating machines.
- Package, sort, and stock parts and materials.
- Assemble parts and products.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to keep a clean and organized work area.
