About The Position

The General Laborer position at Cal-Maine Foods Inc. is an entry-level role focused on ensuring the quality and safety of egg production. Requirements

• No prior experience and/or training required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Remove poor quality eggs properly and efficiently.
• Pack good product in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring there are no missing eggs, bad cartons, or cases.
• Monitor stamps on eggs, removing cracked or dirty eggs and replacing them.
• Comply with all USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, Safety Programs, Bio-security Policies, Plant Procedures, HACCP and Food Defense Programs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Immediately report any mechanical problems or poor quality conditions to the Plant Leads, Supervisors, or Maintenance staff.
