About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with assembly line processes, contributing to the efficient operation of our production lines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Fabricate parts and components according to specifications.
- Assemble products on the assembly line, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Familiarity with assembly line operations and warehouse practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
